By September, the wildebeest are congregating in the northern Serengeti, with the mighty Mara River in sight. Witnessing the dramatic showing as the vast herds face the gushing river water, filled with hungry crocodiles, from the vantage point of a hot air balloon is one of the best ways to truly grasp the magnitude of this natural phenomenon.
