INCREDIBLE RWANDA & TANZANIA

1 Arrive at Kigali International Airport and overnight.

2 After a morning tour of the city, including a visit to the very moving Genocide Memorial, drive to Volcanoes National Park.

3 After an early breakfast, drive to the Gorilla Tracking HQ to meet the guides, porters and the other people tracking in the group. Tracking can take anywhere from 45 minutes to five or more hours. Once trackers have reached the designated family, they have one hour with them. Return to the lodge for lunch and optional afternoon activities.

4 Early this morning head out on a Golden Monkey track. This unusual species is endemic to the Virunga Volcanoes mountain chain. In the afternoon, choose to explore the twin lakes on a walk followed by a canoe ride with a sundowner aboard (additional cost).

5 Set out for Kigali early this morning to catch the midday flight to the Serengeti. Arrive in the afternoon and do a short game drive to the property.

6 & 7 Spend the next two days exploring the Serengeti National Park on morning and afternoon game drives in your private Landcruiser. There is the chance to do an early morning balloon safari (additional cost).

8 Fly to the Manyara Airstrip and transfer to your lodge in Landcruiser for an afternoon at leisure.

9 Set off for a full day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater – the world’s largest unbroken caldera.

10 Drive to Arusha and relax in a day room before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for the flight home.
